Las Hormigas Negras produces the Fundación MAPFRE Guanarteme videos

Hormigas Negras was the audio-visual production company responsible for the important task of producing the videos about the Fundación MAPFRE Guanarteme project videos in 2019. These videos showcase the initiatives supported by Fundación MAPFRE Guanarteme to enhance Canary Island society. They show situations, actions, stories that reveal the spirit of solidarity and capacity of progress of Canary Island society.

This video shows one of the courses of the skill-building for the Employment Programme, in this case, the training itinerary of a supermarket employee, hosted by the Dioceses Cáritas in Tenerife. This course allows students to learn the skills and know-how that they will develop in the different departments of a supermarket, such as working at the meat, counter, the fish counter, on the check-out till, etc.

As the teacher herself says, “they didn’t know a thing when they started, now they have the skills to do the on-the-job placements and work in a supermarket”. The students are delighted with everything they have learned and raring to join the job market.

The idea of this video was to get these people’s learning process across and, above all, the importance of these courses in training them and driving them to find a job to make them more independent and offer them better quality of life in the future, because we are all entitled to a decent job.

To do this, our audio-visual production company has worked meticulously on the management, production and edition of these videos through our team of editors and camera operators, using the very best technical equipment. That is why we are one of the leading producers in the corporate video field in the Canary Islands.
